This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Ritz.
When BlogHer asked me if I’d like to be one of the over-worked, over-scheduled and over-jam-packed working woman, I said heck yeah. When they said food was involved, I gave a little shout of joy and eagerly awaited my package.
I’ve been moving for what seems like 3 months. This means I’ve barely had time to shop let alone cook anything, and I’ve been trying to snack and eat as healthfully as possible while thinking about a million other things. Additionally, my workload has not slowed the slightest bit. Clients don’t really care if you’re going through a crazy time in your personal life or that your wireless network is constantly on the fritz. I’m also really trying to eat more whole grain - even my junk food has to have some whole grain goodness, or a lot of fiber, or something to mitigate the crappy eating in which I sometimes engage.
The kids saw the Crackerfuls and wanted to taste them, but I informed them that it was “Mommy’s food” and mumbled something about it being full of vegetables. This made them not only go away like someone had set a swarm of angry bees upon them; it also made them halt asking for more. Double win!
I have a crazy mental motivational habit. It goes something like this: Finish these edits on this client’s website, then you can pee/eat/yawn/drink. Or, once this laundry is folded, you can have a snack. I use these mental exercises to force me to finish something before moving on, and usually my snack breaks are pretty boring. A random granola bar that my kids left half-eaten, or a bowl of cereal, or sometimes, in sheer desperation, a piece of bread (usually stale) smeared with whatever I can find to put on it. So needless to say, the Crackerfuls were like caviar to me. Especially since no one had taken any bites from it.

I tried both the Classic Cheddar and the new Cheddar Cheese with Bacon Crackerfuls. I still firmly believe that bacon makes everything - literally everything - taste better. I’ll let you guess which one is my favorite. Like the proverbial carrot in front of the horse’s mouth, I worked faster - and sometimes even better(!) knowing that I would be rewarded with a yummy snack that was stale or slightly used. Although the fat content is higher than I normally consume for snacks (7g per bar), they contain 3g of fiber which makes this girl happy. Each Crackerful has 6 grams of whole grains and real cheese. I was definitely not hungry 30 minutes later like I normally am after snacktime! I also got in the habit of throwing a couple into my laptop bag; they were great between meals or when I just completely forgot to eat. They’re individually wrapped so I was able to contain my mess easily (and I am messy!).
So while I won’t eat these EVERY day at snack time (I would become addicted and it would not be good), when I have a particularly successful client meeting, bang out a brilliant piece of writing or just get a lot of laundry done, these Crackerfuls are MINE. I do not share well with others. And can I just say again, mmmmmm - bacon? Mmmmmm. Bacon. I loved a few things about the Crackerfuls: they are portable (just don’t smash them like I did when I sat on my purse), they are substantial and kill off my hunger, and they are much better for me than the average snack. It’s the trifecta of yumminess.
I’m giving away a $100 visa gift card to the person who can make me laugh the hardest with their answer to the following question: “What’s your secret snack indulgence?” Please people, keep it clean. And if you don’t win on my blog, there are 16 other $100 giveaways located on the BlogHer.com special offers page.
As usual, there is some blah blah blah you need to read about (like the official rules). You can also find out a bunch more about Ritz Crackerfuls here. They also have a rockin’ Facebook Fan Page (including coupons) here. And because I love you so much, you can save $1.00 on Ritz Crackerfuls filled crackers. Teddy Ghrams. Fast Break candy bar. Smoosh a piece of the candy bar between two Teddy Grahms. I have no idea how I discovered this but I most likely wasn’t sober.
A can of cream cheese frosting.
Oooooh, good question. If I’m at work I’ll hit the ice cream vending machine and get a drumstick. If I’m at home I’ll make spaghettios and cheetos. In the same bowl.
IT’S GOOD, I SWEAR!

Cheese doodles with salsa! It’s good! Go figure!
It’s not exciting, but it’s true. My favorite secret snack is very salty potato chips. I hide them, eat them, and love it. The kids will never know.
My current favorite indulgence is Trader Joe’s dark chocolate covered caramels. Very chewy and delicious!
Homemade banana splits or strawberry shortcakes. mmmmmm…....
My favorite is extreme dark chocolate..like 85% and up…yes, gross to 99% of people, but oh so good to me. And Another favorite, triscuits with pear slices and melted garganzola cheese. YUMM!
So, this might or might not make you laugh, but it makes me laugh EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I think about it!
I was a contestant on the Price is Right. Yes, that’s right. I was. In the audience. They called my name. I ran down. I bid. I won contestant row. I went up. I tackled Drew Carey. I played the game. I won. I screamed. I jumped.
I won a bath tub. Yep, that’s right. A bath tub. A fancy-schmancy bathtub…with 17 jets in it. And a waterfall, and surround sound stereo…and wait for it…wait for it…a TV in it!!! WHAAAAAT! Yes!
So, when I won….I was so excited, I ran and jumped in it! Drew Carey almost fell out! It was hideous, now looking back on it
Now, what does that have to do with your question?!
Well, during the break, when I *finally* calmed down….Drew asked me what was I gonna do with that big bathtub…and I told him I was gonna sit in it and eat Reese’s Cups and watch the Price Is Right!!!
So….there you have it….my secret is out! Reese’s cups it is!!
And, I like them frozen. I eat the edges first. Then the center
It’s not much of a secret, but I LOVE filled licorice. You know, the thick kind with sweet or sour filling? I picked up a huge bag at the fair during the 4th of July and have been snacking on it randomly since. I’ve already finished half of the bag.
Thank you for the giveaway!
oh my gosh have you seen the new green fire doritos- they look like guac chips but are fire hot with horseradish spice and those are bad but when in a mood will grab salami, swiss cheese, wheat bread, a whole tomato sliced, a whole onion sliced and some chips inside and the rest of the bag to help salt it up- yep I have some moods and thats not a meal- I slop it on down, and a bunch of salami as in 1/2 pound and 1/2 pound of swiss cheese- real salmi- hard stinky smelly and wash it down with a ice cold 2 liter of diet coke- yep that diet helps cut those calories and keep the butt real slim
chocolate chip morsels.
Cookie dough!
Anything chocolate!
Nutella- I don’t keep it in the house because I love it too much
McDonalds mocha frape. Not very funny, but totally delicious!
I LOVE fruit. Watermelon is a favorite this time of year. I had a half watermelon sitting in the fridge, so during one of my favorite shows, I grabbed the watermelon and a spoon. Next thing I know, most of the watermelon is gone and my show is done. Just in time for my then five year old to wake up and come downstairs. He says to me, “Mama, you say it’s hoggish to eat that much!” To appease him, I let him finish the little bit that was left!
Wendy’s fries dipped in a Frosty…mmmm!
My secret indulgence is Starbucks ice cream!
My favorite indulgence snack is to cook cookie dough in the microwave for about 30sec. (chocolate chip) then put vanilla ice cream and hot fudge on top. MMMMmmmm!
Anything Chocolate!

Homemade chocolate chip brownies warm from the oven and a big ole glass of iced tea! That’s my idea of heaven on earth!
Chocolate chip cookies!
True story! My secret indulgence is spinach dip! I eat it by the gallon fulls. But spinach is ummm can you say gassy. Anyway the night before a big job interview i ate a tub full! Fast foward to the interview I start feeling that rumbly in my tummy. I am sitting there sweat beads forming on my head and squirming like a mad woman. After all its not polite for a lady to poot now is it? This goes on for a good 10 minutes. In the middle of the interview I excuse myself and make a mad dash for the bathroom. Feeling better I come back and my potential boss looks at me and asks “Are you on drugs?” I then say yes I have an addiction and its called spinach dip! I proceeded to tell her with humiliating honesty what exactly happened thanked her for her time and left. Can you imagine I lost a job because I cannot control myself with my spinach dip obsession. Wow I have issues.I am starting to think I need to just stop eating spinach dip, cold turkey!
A week later I got a call I got the job and the reason was because I kept it real! With one exception..I was not to eat any spinach dip before any meetings!

I have a rather large container of mini candybars in my pantry. When I plan dinner, I usually sneak one…. or two.
I really love Chex Mix - they haven’t come up with any flavors I don’t really like - the mix of sweet and salty is just perfect for me!
When I was pregnant (that’s my excuse and I am sticking with it) I was “into” eating white things. I would dip pickles in mayo, make roast beef rollups with cool whip inside (sometimes I still crave these), and yes, I stooped to putting marshmellow cream on my hotdog. Well, the best part looking back was seeing my husbands face each time I’d do this. Priceless.
Searching for food spys…seeing none-proceed to open the kitchen cabinet….Quickly , pull out a half eaten package of chocolate chips-roll up open corner-and let the lovely chocolate melt in my mouth.
Still famished I grab my jar of marshmellow cream and daydream of Robert Redford while huge tablespoons of sweet stickey stuff melts in my mouth. I hear footsteps! Panic strikes -I drop the spoon into the sink. It’s only the dog. I grab my spoon back. Now, where are those darn twinkes? Ah….now it is me Robert Redford, and Paul Newman.
My secret snack indulgence is chocolate. I keep a small stash hidden, so my kids and hubby don’t clear me out. Thanks so much.
rickpeggysmith(at)aol(dot)com
I love, love love buttery popcorn.
When I was pregnant with my oldest son I had the CRAZIEST craving for, uhhhh, urinal cakes!!?!? I couldn’t get over it. I needed to taste that clean smell. I tried and tried to trick myself into feeling like I satisfied the craving, but, to no avail. My dr. asked me one day if I had any cravings and I told her, she asked me what about them I wanted (it was the clean smell and what I thought the texture might be), she looked a little freaked out and left the room. About five minutes later, she came back in and said she had an idea. She told me whenever I felt the urge to lick a cake, clean something with a mild cleaner and eat one of “these” and handed me the chewy Sweet Tarts! hahah! IT WORKED!!!
To this day I buy the chewy little buggers every time I find them!! mmmmm…
I like graham crackers dipped in frosting and then dipped in chocolate chips. Peanut butter, banana & marshmallow cream sandwiches are delish too!
milk chocolate coverd almonds - yum!
tvollowitz at aol dot com
I do the sweet and salty thing, Cheez-its, honey mustard pretzel chips and Gardetto’s snack mix and banana chips all mixed together
singermagic1(at)yahoo(dot)com
My favorite secret snack is Chocolate covered cherries. Not the one with the white cream filling, that stuff has no business covering my delicious ripe cherries, but the one with the clear filling (seriously gives me that “ahhh moment”) Everyone in this house knows, you want to keep momma happy, NEVER touch my Cello chocolate covered cherries. (luckily no one else likes them, so this is never a problem) My dream is to die a very old woman, propped up on my pillows, my favorite book in hand, my favorite show on tv and Cello clear chocolate cherry juice dripping down my chin with a big satisfied smile on my face
I have hard candy close by and it’s time consuming before I’m ready for another one. Helps to stave off hunger pains.
Something sugar free cause I’m diabetic.
Mine is powerbars.
My secret snack indulgence is uncooked cookie dough. No matter how many times I see that you are not supposed to eat it raw (and they now have a warning on the package!), it is still irresistible to me.
ICE CREAM BAR
Those too-adorable pouches of mini Oreos or Chips Ahoy are my downfall. Really, I can’t be left alone with them for a minute. It’s almost obscene.
A bag of doritos..I will just sit and eat the whole bag until I am sick
There is nothing like a good bag of chocolate chips. Yes, the whole bag.
oven smores - graham crackes with marshmallows, chocolate chips and broiled until the marshmallows are brown.
Any kind of english chocolate always makes my day!
peanut butter and marshmallow fluff on white bread.
My down fall is red velvet whoopie pies.
This is kind of embarrassing to admit on the internet, BUT I’ve been doing this as a summer “snack” ever since I was a kid. I take jet puffed marshmallows and stick them in a bowl, microwave until they are gigantic, then take the bowl out and smother the mallows with chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped topping and sprinkles. Why not use marshamallow cream? Because the ice cream on top of the warm mallows makes the mallows harden to a crunch consistency! I used to eat it every Friday night after the school week was done, my best friend and I used to eat it while watching Interview with the Vampire. Teenage hormones + Brad Pitt with fangs = ice cream, obviously. So even thought I’m in my late 20’s now I still get the craving to chow down on the super sugary sweet confection. You know it’s bad when even little kids sort of look at you in awe as you devour it..
I snack on bananas
I LOL’d at “because noone had taken a bite out of it” haha
I also enjoyed reading thru these posts(made me hungry lol)..LOVED the Price is Right/reese’s cup story!
Also, the one above me about the marshmallow indulgence.Yum..thanks will try that!! LOVE marshmallows!
Ok, now to your question since I digressed haha….
My fave secret snack indulgence is:
cake, ice cream, and crushed up salty potato chips!! lol
Odd, but on occasion, satisfies..
thanks for the chance to win

I love raw in the shell sunflower seeds. They take a lot of time (and expertise) to eat, and it can take me 2 hours to gnaw through the whole bag. It is embarassing to eat them because you have to have a receptacle for spitting out the shells. And maybe worse, when I buy a case of them at the store, I have been asked many times “Just how many birds do you have?”
I hide cookies because otherwise they would all be eaten and not by me!
I’ve got a stash of maple sugar candies hidden in the fridge for a little secret indulgence every now and then.
Dang. Now I’m not going to get the thought out of my head until I get up and get one, but at least I get to blame you this time around.
Chocolate for sure.
pistachio’s stuffed in the middle of grapes
My secret snack indulgence is these vegan cookies that have about 500 calories each. I have to buy them at different locations so that the checkers won’t think I’m crazy getting them all the time. I try desperately to eat them in 1/2 increments - hiding the other half in the bottom of my desk drawer, but I always end up going back to them by the time the day is over. I even sometimes staple the package closed, so it will be “harder” to get at. ha ha
Carb/sugar addiction, anyone?
Nutella on vanilla ice cream…..
potato chips
If Cashews are in the house, I will eat them like candy. If I don’t have any, I will eat fruit….a much lower calorie snack
French Vanilla Ice Cream smothered with Hot Fudge and sprinkled with pecans or walnuts. Yummy!
I’m addicted to cashews.
Cookies and Cream ice cream!
Velveeta shells, with the cheese in the pouch- that way you know it’s fake and very delicious!
Rita’s gelatis with banana and fudge brownie water ice and vanilla soft serve.
Step 1 - Set aside all rational thought
Step 2 - Make sure no one is around to see this
Step 3 - Take the Nutella, Peanut Butter, & Marshmallow Fluff out of the pantry
Step 4 - Look around you for people again and dip your spoon in the PB, Nutella, and finally the Fluff.
Step 5 - Take one last glance and shove the whole thing in your mouth
Step 6 - Chug water to get rid of the sugar burn on your teeth and undo your pant button
Step 7 - This is very important - Do not, I repeat, DO NOT look in a mirror for the next day or two
Thanks! thebubbledies(at)gmail(dot)com
Sushi! I know that’s a meal in itself, but a few pieces of Nigiri and I am a happy girl. Having that before dinner must be why my pants don’t fit…
I try not to eat junk any more, but it’s hard to resist the Red Hot potato chips. I will sneak a small bag of those now and then. Shhh…
My secret snack? You mean…the one I keep hidden in the clothes washer? Wait, where do you live and do you know where my washer is? I hope not! Anyway…my secret snack indulgence is Jordan almonds. I don’t care that much about the almond part. That sugar coating is to die for!
grab a whole wheat tortilla (HAS to be whole wheat because what you’re going to top it with should be labeled an abomination. so no extra guilt… go for the wheat…)
pop in micorwave for 10 secs.
‘hot potato’ the tortilla all the way to the counter where you will slather with any (or all) combination of the following:
nutella
peanut butter
chocolate chips
banana
marshmallow fluff
honey
then run back to the microwave for another. (my fave combinations are nutella. period. pb& choc chips, pb & honey. pb& banana)
Ok…..so this is really embarassing but I’ll tell you anyway.
I absolutely love oreos but I rarely ever buy them. However, one day I decided to get them and it was the best thing ever. The only problem was that i knew everyone in my family would go CRAZY over them (since i never buy them). Not wanting to share my oreos, i hid them in my closet so I could savor them (Weird, i know, but I live with boys….they would of eaten them in 5 minutes flat!!!)
So anyway…here i am feeling so clever that i successfully hid the oreos in the depths of my closet. Then disaster struck. My dog (who can smell food from a mile away) got into my closet while i was out and devoured the box. When I get back I came home to a shredded oreos box and a sick dog. D’oh!!!!! Panicked, I bolted to the vet (chocolate is toxic to dogs….right?) and spent the night taking care of my dog who was given vomit inducing meds - He’s OK now :D
I still love oreos, but now I hide them in both a boy and dog-proof space
Raw fish, mainly eel or tuna…add some soy sauce and call it good…or sushi…whichever you prefer.
My biggest snack indulgence are pizza rolls! They are my junk food crack!@
popcorn with hot sauce
My secret snack is an Oreo Frosty from Wendy’s. The “O” in Oreo stand for zero calories, and the ice cream gives me a full daily allowance of Vitamin I.
warm brownies with ice cream would be my pick
My secret snace indulgence is oreo cookies.
I once stole my neighbor’s box of Good and Plenty.
My favorite secret snack indulgence is hand delivered to me every October 31. I send out my adorable children in cute costumes to go door to door begging for candy that, little do they realize, I will sneak piece by piece over the next few weeks. I mix in some of the leftover candy that I passed out that is not as premium, as I steal a snickers here and a reeses peanut butter cup there. Don’t tell my kids, though, I don’t want to be locked out of the goodies this year.
i love cheese and crackers with salami or pepperoni
My favorite secret snack is cream cheese icing spread onto graham crackers with lemon zest.
Milano cookies and Goldfish crackers
Fresh fruits and fresh veggies.
Refrigerated sugar cookie dough, I like it cold and unbaked, sometimes frozen.
My personal favorite snack indulgence would either be cupcakes or nachos.
Ice cream on top of a warm waffle. It’s delicious.
I love 100 calorie pack oreo cakesters!
Thanks for entering me! Great Contest!

I hide in the closet with a jar of crunchy peanut butter and a bag of frozen chocolate chips, dipping my spoon in the peanut butter then chocolate.
As a child I used to like to eat frozen Cool Whip straight from the freezer.
My favorite nutso snack is Jalapenos on toast which has been brushed with a bit of mayonnaise
I love Snickers! Not the healthiest thing but “when your hungry, why wait?”
Nachos…. give me some nachos and I can win a speed eating contest!
My indulgence? Nachos…. give me some nachos and I can win a speed eating contest! Call me Kobayashi! Yum yum.
I can take out a bag of Dove Peanut Butter Chocolate Promises like nobody’s business.
I love tortilla chips and LOTS of salsa. Like TONS of salsa!
I love Pringles…if I don’t watch I’ll snack on the entire can!
I have a drinking problem. I sneak into the kitchen, open the fridge, and take a big swig of REAL LIMEADE. I drink right from the bottle!! If my kids caught me I would die of shame. They don’t like Real Limeade. I need to go to a meeting. “Hello. My name is Dee and I’m a Limeade-aholic. One chug of Limeade is too many and 100 are NEVER ENOUGH!”
I have a secret stash of dark chocolate covered dried fruits such as raisins, blueberries, cherries and cranberries. I justify it because dark chocolate is supposedly healthy to eat (though in small doses).
My secret snack indulgence is Marzipan chocolate! And, I CAN NOT, repeat NOT keep it in the house…. cause I’d eat it! So, a very occasional treat is all!
Secret snack? I supposed sneaking cookies would qualify for this, correct? If so… sneaking cookies.
I am a huge snackaholic and my favorite secret snack is taking a Hershey bar and heating it up in the toaster! Gooey and warm and so good ! Looking for a Mr Goodbar? He is in my toaster because he the best,a warm gooey love!!!
Chocolate!!!
Korean kimchi ramen
Korean Kimchi Ramen if you have to ask.
Oh, that would be ice cream! I love ice cream, get my big bowl out and drip some magic shell on it.
I LOVE homemade chex mix. I could eat it by the bucket full.
Well I love to watch the food network and one day I saw someone deep frying a battered chocolate bar… so I tried it and it didn’t work out so well for me. I did however further the battered sweet treat quest and my secret guilty pleasure is a deep fried battered pop tart. Don’t knock it till you try it because it is out of this world delicious (also don’t tell anyone in my household why there are little charred pieces of icing on their french fries)
I just ate my weight in Cheddar Goldfish crackers, which is why I should not keep them in my desk drawer.
In a pinch I steal mini Hershey’s bars from my kids’ Halloween candy stash, melt them, and dip animal crackers in there. Klassy!
I will eat brown sugar right out of the bag….
my secret snack indulgence, omigosh anything chewy with chocolate and caramel, like a Snickers Bar!
Korean Kimchi Ramene if you haven to ask.
Hope this entry gets through.
Snickers - they always bring me up
cookiesandclogs[at]gmail[dot]com
Sometimes I just have to have a good Old Reese’s candy bar.
Mine is a Reese’s Cup. I love them!
My secret snack indulgence is to mash up a banana, mix in some milk, then add lots of sugar. It is healthy until I put on all the sugar!
Pickle sandwiches. Pickles, mayo on fresh wheat bread. Yummy! Not funny, but it’s good. lisacarr7 at aol dot com
Chocolate or ice cream =)
Normally I hate pretzels, BUT coated with store bought canned chocolate frosting they are totally delish.
I eat mostly whole foods, work out, yoga, meditation and such. But when I really want to indulge, I sneak out to a fast food restuarant while everyone is at work, and have a greasy cheeseburger! I carry breath mints to cover the smell up! Ha!
Peanut M&Ms; - I can’t buy the huge bags because I would eat them all in one sitting!
My favorite snack indulgence is one scoop of vanilla icecream and one scoop of mint moose tracks icecream.
frozen banana slices and frozen blueberries because right now they are very plump!
I love grapes frozen in OJ
Cheez-its!
Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<
I have three boys and a husband who is always hungry. My secret indulgence has to be something that does not appeal to any of them, otherwise, I get none. It is Italian bread. Warm, with some buttery tasting spread on it. It’s not so easy to sneak in the house…as it does not fit in my purse and there are only so many ways to casually walk in with a honking long loaf of delicious goodness. But I do. Sometimes I buy chocolate, unwrap it, and stick it in the bottom of the bread sleeve. It is so good with the bread and nobody else ever goes into the bag so they’d never know. Muhahahahahaha
Hot chocolate with lots and lots of whipped cream - so delicious!
i have been known to sit down with a container of duncan hines milk chocolate frosting
A piece of chocolate! (Or a whole bar if I’m having one of those days).
Right now I’m really into frozen fruit bars. It’s hot, they’re cold (and the ones I have don’t have added sugar)... what’s not to love.
But I will say that I got a free sample of these recently (with the bacon) I made the mistake of leaving them on the counter. The mail had only been in a few minutes, and I figured they’d be safe, but I was WRONG. A moment later my teenage daughter came to me and said “Those Crackerfuls? GREAT. Where are the rest of them?”
((sigh)) as soon as I find then in the stores down here the next box is MINE.
Banana slices with a dab of peanut butter covered with chocolate cake/cookie sprinkles
My favorite snack.
Oh, I’ll tell ya all right.
It’s a PB&J sandwich.
...But it doesn’t stop there. First you slap some PB on the bread, banana slices go next, sprinkle some shaved coconut over that & then cover it in ground cinnamon. Then, I usually get some sort of intriguing jelly. Right now my favorite is apricot pineapple.
And THAT is how I put together a PB&J sandwich. It’s delicious too!
Sometime it’s a dish of ice cream. Sometimes it’s something else like applesauce.
Usually something like a cookie or some crackers is enough to keep me going.
When I’m craving to munch on something, a favorite would be to make some cinnamon & sugar toast.
I love to endulge in a handful of nuts, especially almonds and walnuts. Yummy!
Thanks!
Well, my secret snack indulgence are dark chocolate snickers bars - and not the snack size ones either….oh they are so good. I don’t indulge often though.
I used to eat cottage cheese and pickles. (no not pregnant either!)
I will sit and eat as many green olives as I can before I feel a stomach ache coming on! I wake up in the morning and I can still smell olives on my fingers…busted!
It’s not much of a secret that my snack indulgence is dark chocolate brownies!
My favorite secret snack indulgence are Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. They never make it home from the supermarket on the rare occasion that I go - lol My wife always comments how the box arrives open with 2 or 3 rolls missing and I always have an answer - aliens, charging rhinos, zombies who only like Little Debbie Swiss Rolls.
I can’t resist Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. They are so good!
Anything I can eat the last of! If there’s only one icecream I sneak it up to the bedroom and with the door closed I snack away..There are 4 kids in this house and I couldn’t let the kids decide who gets the last one, so avoid fights—- I Eat it!
I should get Mom of the year for that one!
I love Snickers Ice Cream Bars. I know that aren’t good for me..but they are so good.
When I want a quick sweet I mix up some chocolate chips and walnuts. Yummy!
Ok so I know I’m weird, but ever since I was a little one I’ve liked to dip my goldfish in chocolate pudding!
My favorite secret snack indulgence is ideal for 1) people with hangovers 2) pregnant women 3) anyone (male or female) battling PMS. Go to your local Wendy’s, order a large fry and a Frosty. Take said items home. Put on pants that have an elastic waist. Dip fries into Frosty and eat while watching either bad reality tv or Seinfeld reruns. It’s the perfect snack cure.
My secret snack enduldgence:
It starts out as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich packed neatly in an old metal “Six Million Dollar Man” lunchbox along with a snack pack of Cheetos.
The magic occurs when the sandwich gets “disassembled”... and Cheetos strategically deployed on the peanut butter slice for maximum coverage. The jelly slice is returned to it’s original place. What used to be mundane filler food is transformed into something truly spectacular. All the other kids sit there mindlessly chewing their food. As I dine in style I vow to never divulge this sacred knowledge… Until now. Please guard this secret well.
I like Yoplait Yogurt, and I eat a lot of it.
For emergencies I keep KRAFT EASY CHEESE CHEDDAR ‘N BACON in my cupboard. I do not consider it real food, but sometimes I like a squirt right into my mouth. Or onto a ritz cracker. My cat loves the stuff and I’ll squirt a bit on her nose and watch her try to eat it. Thanks for the contest.
oreo double stuffs rock my world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nutella…plain out of the jar or slathered on anything I can find. I’ve even put it on pickles. I’ll smear it on those Crackerfuls too. It’s that good and when it’s in the house, it’s a goner. Yum.
My secret snack indulgence is to make s’mores by heating up marshmellows in the microwave and them putting them on my graham crackers with chocolate.
Anything with chocolate but especially Milky Ways.
I’m expecting and right now it’s p&j sandwiches. My husband asked today where all the bread is going
Cheetos
It depends on where I am at. If I am in the car driving my favorite snack would be whatever fast food place I am driving by. If I am in the grocery store and need a snack I wonder aimlessly down the aisle’s looking for something to jump out at me. If I am at home then I repeatly open the frig/freezer and try to find my favorite snack. When I realize that I had no snacks that interest me I jump in the car and follow the first step….
I enjoy peanut butter cookies as a secret snack.
This is my favorite snack indulgence, which I don’t partake of very often because ... well, you’ll see why. Fill, and I mean FILL, a large dinner plate will Tostitos round corn chips. Generously cover said chips with cheese—a combo of sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and any other little bits of mold-covered hard nuggets of cheese you’ve forgotten about in the refrigerator will do. Microwave this manna from Heaven until the cheese is all hot and bubbly and aromatic. Wait only so long that you will not burn your tongue to carbon and then eat those greasy yummy cheese-covered chips until the last one is gone and you suddenly feel bereft of any reason to live but are sated with the most delicious snack conceivable. Now I realize that some might think that this is a dangerous high-calorie, high-fat snack but in actuality it is a diet food ... and here’s why: in a short while all of that cheese will turn to cement in your system and you will be so constipated that you will not want to eat a morsel of food for the 3-4 days it will take to rid yourself of your overindulgence. UNTIL ... the NEXT time!!!
Sweet:
stale frozen Peeps smared with nutella (yellow only—any other color is an abomination.
Salty:
Keelber townhouse crackers smeared with REAL butter.
Whenver I’m out:
large cotton candy ice from Ritas. Preferrably with an order of fries from Mickey D’s.
cheese and crackers, not too much of a secret though!
I steal the mini oreo’s I bought for the kids.
I love cheddar & sour cream chips smashed up on a bagel with cream cheese…don’t knock til you try it!
My favorite addiction (oh sorry I mean indulgence lol) is kit kats—-I put them down like you wouldn’t believe!
My secret snack indulgence is sweets. Whatever I may have on hand and most of the time, it includes some kind of chocolate.
I just love jelly bellys! Whether I am dieting or not!
But when I am dieting, I throw away the coconut flavored ones, since I don’t like them anyway!!
When I am not dieting, I eat them anyway, just because it’s easier than getting up to throw them away!
Thanks for the giveaway!
My secret snack indulgence would definitely be Swedish Fish - I know they’re not the best option, but I’m addicted to those little red devils!
Godiva hot chocolate, I don’t care if its 100 degrees outside, it is amazing! On occasion I’ll ask for whipped cream, NOT THE OIL, HAS TO BE THE REAAAAAAL STUFF! With a caramel drizzle.
I love chocolate graham goldfish!
I have been sneaking my kids new candy Skittles Fizzl’d Fruits that they got from their grandma. Oh so bad for you .... but so stinking good!
I have to say that my favorite has to be a homemade rice crispy treat. I could eat a whole try just by myself.
14 poptarts during social networking laptop time at night.
(Oops…did I say FOURTEEN?!? I couldn’t have REALLY MEANT 1…4, especially since we’re trying to eat more local/organic….)
Sigh…. Since college (and I’m 56 now), I can NOT resist cream horns - not the fresh ones in the bakery section that have the pretty powdered sugar on them. I LOVE the junky ones that come 5 in a package. I eat them all in one sitting because I just can’t put them down. I usually try not to walk down the aisle they’re in so I won’t be tempted.
My teenage daughter came up with this while PMSing one month, and it fills the bill when there are no Reese’s cups around and I’m craving them: toast up two slices of bread; put peanut butter on one, Nutella on the other; squish together for crunchy, creamy, melted peanut butter and chocolate goodness! (Okay, so it’s not all that close to a Reese’s, but it sure can hit the spot!) Gotta love those PMS-driven moments of inspiration in the kitchen!
Many thanks!
For me, it’s sweet, then salty, sweet, then salty…and repeat. M&M’s (preferably peanut) followed by pretzels is one good option.
chocolate, sometimes I eat more than I should

My super secret snack is chocolate…that’s all you need to know!
Cookies! especially white chocolate and macadamia cookies
I’m a GFC follower
Thanks for the chance!
I eat coffee grounds. I will grind up a small sandwhich bag worth of coffee and leave it on the table beside my computer. I’ll get a few bites here and there through out the day. I end up eating about a pot worth of coffee a day.
I love to take apart a ice cream sandwich and fill it with peanut butter, jelly and chocolate chips. I don’t want anyone to know so I buy a extra box of ice cream sandwiches and put them way in back of the freezer. When everyone is in bed, I sneak down into the kitchen and make them. I then hide them in a empty bag of frozen vegetables as I know that nobody will ever pull that bag out. The only time I almost got discovered was when my husband quietly came into the kitchen and asked what I was eating. I said nothing and put it in my robe pocket. All of that sweetness melted in the pocket but at least my secret is still safe!
I am so embarassed, but Uncrustables! The PB&J ones! They are delish and easy and remind me of being a kid. Thanks!
Mine is dark chocolate in any form!
I love cheese balls!
MnM’s are my weakness
Goofy mushy gopher guts sprinkled about with eye of newt and pink fungi toadstools ala chocolate bat gizzards creamed to perfection
Mine is hard candy!
I eat a whole box of crackers when Im alone. And its a secret because I dont want anyone to know, because then I might actually have to stop and look at myself.
shh…my fave secret snack is now tha packaged cotton candy that you can buy in stores like Target. I have a whole stash of it!!!
My favorite secret snack is Teryiaki Beef jerky sticks! And honestly, I only have to keep it secret from hubby, he always trys to steal my jerky!! Love it!
I grab some breakfast granola for a snack. By children think I’m weird to be eating breafast cereal in the middle of the day.
Once in college I had the munchies and had NO food or any way to get food. I did however have flour and sugar. You won’t believe it but I mixed them together and ate it! Yup, it’s true. It really was pretty awful and I couldn;t eat much because well it sucked, as you can imagine!
Snacking on String Cheese, roasted almonds and/or baby carrots keeps me going between meals.
Double-Stuff Oreos. But only the creamy middles. HATE the Oreo cookie part.
I love to have a hunk of sharp cheddar and plain Lays chips. Try it! It is to die for….
Ice cream melted in coke. I love to see the chemical reactions in the cup. It tastes like a magic potion.
I had a really weird ‘secret snack indulgence’ a few weeks ago. I am a college student and am often scraping up change a few days before payday. Well last week, my roommate and I had no food in the apartment and I literally had a dollar to my name. I noticed that there was a box of peanut butter cookies deep in our cupboard. I had never heard of the brand and since she is from Asia I figured her mom shipped them over. I ate a few and left the box on the table.
Well…she came home hours later and said “What are these doing out?”
Turns out those “cookies” were dog treats for the dog she used to have! I unknowingly ate dog treats…and liked them! bleck!
Chocolate gets me through the day. I usually eat a couple kisses several times a day as a sweet little escape

My snack obsession is Ferrero Rocher chocolates. I try to trick myself into eating only one or two but if I’m not careful I’ll wipe out a dozen or so in just a few minutes.
I’ve been known to try to hide them from myself but I know all my favorite hiding places so that doesn’t work for very long.
Doritos, which I have to hide from the kids and hubby! (behind the veggies in the fridge is a GREAT hiding spot!)
Thank you for the chance!

My secret snack indulgence is peanut butter mixed with confectioners sugar and a little milk to make it creamy.
My secret snack indulgence is a bunch of pretzels dipped in sugar. People think I’m gross when I mention this tasty treat, but I tell you, it is sooooo delicious!
my secret snack indulgence - an unseemly amount of Nutella
Mine is incredibly decadent. Take a slice of pound cake, toast it and then spread Nutella on it!
As a kid I used to put a piece of toast in the toaster oven with peanut butter spread over it and chocolate chips sprinkled over the peanut butter. I’d toast it enough to melt the chocolate and then eat it.
It is usually a secret stash of good chocolate or good cookies, such as Pepperidge Farms Mint Milano. I have a large family, so it is really hard to keep it a secret. In fact, there have been times when I am looking for my secret stash and one of my kids will figure out what I am looking for and tell me where it is.
Chocolate that was hidden from the kids.
