Happy Halloween everyone. We had a Halloween-filled weekend with the girls, which including lots of non-Halloween tasks for mommy and daddy, including running all over with the girls. Lily got a haircut so that she doesn’t look insane for her portraits next Sunday, I cleaned the house with Mike yesterday morning, and we squeezed in a block party and the Halloween parade. Arden was a big hit as a lobster - people were pointing and laughing. I can’t wait to post some pictures of it.
Today is the Halloween party and parade at Lily’s school, so hopefully mom and dad will remember to bring the digital and I can post some pics tonight. More updates later. I’m technically on a conference call right now and not paying attention . . .

Sigh. I’m awake. Lily got up at 4.45 and called for Daddy to find her blue bear - the thing is about 2” long and easily lost in her bedding. He never found it, but she eventually gave up and went back to sleep. I, on the other hand, have not. After thinking about work for 20 minutes, I just decided to get up and start working. Lots of people exist on 5 hours of sleep, so I should be fine.
I got some new pictures of the girls last night. They are from Arden’s birthday party and the beginning of October. I should have a plethora of pictures from this weekend to post - we have the neighborhood Halloween block party on Saturday, the neighborhood Halloween Parade Sunday, Lily’s Halloween party at school Monday, and her school parade as well, plus Halloween itself. We’re going to be Halloweened out.
Some of my best work happens early in the morning, so I’m off to see if this morning is the exception to the rule.
